How to Recover Deleted Text Messages from Android Phone

When delete messages on your Android phone by careless, don't worry, today we teach you how to recover deleted SMS from Android phone, like Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, Sony, Google Nexus, Huawei,ZTE,ect.

Text Messages are an important source of key information that we store on our mobiles. It can be financial updates or reminders you’ve set up for the next movie show.
Android SMS Recovery
While our belief in the invincibility of our cell phones is definitely commendable, there are times when things go wrong. Software or hardware failures or even an accidental deletion on our part can leave us bereft of the ever-important data stored on our phones.

Android Data Recovery
Android has come up with some programs that help us retrieve deleted messages, contacts and more. These programs can prove invaluable in restoring not just our mobile data but our very sanity.

Will the Restore Always Work?
Android restoration programs are definitely splendid but they function under some constraints. Deleted messages and other data is retrievable only till the time that the memory which initially stored that particular message has not been overwritten.

Once the rewrite takes place your invaluable data is lost forever. Thus, speeds is the key. If there has been a deletion by mistake then get things restored as soon as possible for greatest chances of recovery.

3 Useful Programs that Help in Restoring Data

Samsung SMS Recovery is an easy to use program that as the name suggests is capable of retrieving lost messages and contacts as long as their memory has not been rewritten. This program works on both Macs and PCs.

Dr.Fone for Android is a highly versatile program that can help retrieve pretty much everything that is stored on your smartphone. The program works on both Mac and PCs. This program allows a free trial that can come in handy for such retrieval.

Samsung Contacts Recovery is another retrieval program which is used to retrieve deleted messages, photos, contacts, and videos from a phone. The entire process is very intuitive and fast.

All these programs need to be downloaded onto a computer for the recovery to work. If you do not want to use a computer and recover data solely with your mobile phone then that would require you to root your handset and shell out some money for paid apps. It is a better idea to stick to these computer-based retrieval programs that are very effective and easy to use.

Steps to Restore Deleted Messages from your Android Phone

There are some standard steps that need to be followed with a few intuitive tweaks here and there for the message restoration process. These steps remain the same no matter which program you decide to work with.

Here’s a helpful video that charts the steps below using the Android data recovery software.

Get the retrieval app: Download one of the Message Retrieval programs listed above and open them on your computer.

Enable USB Debugging on your Android Phone: Go to the ‘Developer Options’ under the main phone settings. If this option is not visible then tap on ‘About Phone’ and then scroll down till you find the ‘Build Number’ option. Tap on this repeatedly till you are get developer access. Once this happens go back to the Settings menu and you would find ‘Developer Options’ listed there.

Under Developer Options tick the check box that allows you to enable ‘USB debugging’ or ‘Android Debugging’.

Connect the mobile to your computer and start scanning: Once you have connected your handset to your computer with a USB cable, you would be able scan the entire phone memory to check the accidental deletions that you want to restore. The scanning might take some time as there is a lot of memory that needs to be surfed. A program like Dr.Fone for Android allows you to scan not only messages but also deleted photos, videos and contacts.

Analyze the data: Once the scan is complete, all the data would be present for your perusal. Anything that has not already been overwritten would be available here for restoration. Select whatever data or messages you want restored.

Recover messages from Android phone: After analyzing and selecting the data that needs to be restored back to the mobile’s memory, click on the restore button that is present on the app window. That is all it takes to get back all the data that you feared was lost forever. You could also save it in your computer as a backup.

While being able to rectify accidental mistakes is a great privilege there are times when important things get lost forever due to overwrite of the phone memory. Thus, it is a good practice to take a backup of the all important data on your phone. This might sound like a lot of work but is actually a fairly easy process that can be accomplished in minutes.

There is an app named SMS Backup and Restore which is super easy to use. There are no hidden complications here, the app does exactly what its name suggests; it takes a backup of all your messages and restores them back to your mobile as and when required. This is a free app.

While taking a backup through the app you can provide the target destination which could be somewhere in the local device itself or in some other networked storage like the cloud.

The backup does not take long but if you would rather not spend your time doing it then just schedule periodic backups which would continue in the background without you ever having to think of them.

In Conclusion
These are some of the ways to make sure that you never lose anything of value from your cell phone. The one thing to remember while trying to retrieve deleted data is that speed is the key.

Unless you carry out the retrieval process soon after the deletion there is a good chance that your lost data may remain lost forever. A permanent copy of the retrieval programs on your desktop is a good investment in the interest of the invaluable data stored on your smartphone.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Tips: Before update Galaxy Note 5 to Android 6.0,you must to backup Samsung Galaxy Note 5 before Android update,in order to avoiding data lost on your galaxy note 5 after Android update.

The first Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.0.1 update is reportedly rolling out to the SM-N920C in Cambodia. It’s also reportedly rolling out to carriers in

South Korea, a logical step for Samsung and its flagship device.

Samsung is reportedly rolling out a second Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.0.1 update in Korea to correct some of the problems it found on the initial release.

It’s also rolling out in a number of other countries including India with the Middle East an apparent focus for Samsung right now.

There’s also another U.S. carrier in the mix.

Sprint is rolling out the Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to users taking the flagship phone up from Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

As expected, the change log is similar to the other Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow updates that’ve rolled out elsewhere in the U.S. and around the world. Like

the others, it comes with a number of enhancements, features and fixes.

Sprint’s updates typically take one to two weeks to complete so Galaxy Note 5 users will want to keep an eye out this week and next for Android 6.0.1.

The Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow update is also available bringing new features and enhancements to its version of the flagship smartphone.

Here are a few other things we know right now about the Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow release in North America.

T-Mobile has confirmed the Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow update.
The AT&T Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow update underwent a beta and it will reportedly start rolling out soon.
A SamMobile report from October suggests that work has already begun on updates for Note 5 models around the world.
Telus has confirmed a Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow update for April 7th.
Fellow Canadian carrier Bell has also confirmed plans to roll out a Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow update in March.
Features

Thanks to the beta and the public roll out, we now have some idea about what to expect from the Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow update and its features. The video

below shows off the early software and it runs down many of the important changes.

For more on the Marshmallow leak, take a look at this full rundown from XDA-Developers. It reviews the update’s early performance. For a more recent set of photos, take a look at these Galaxy Note 5 Marshmallow photos. Verizon’s run down of the Marshmallow update will also give you a feel for the changes.

In addition to the new features and enhancements, it also looks like the Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.0.1 update is plagued with issues including battery drain, issues with Gear VR and other smaller bugs. These issues have extended to the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Android 6.o.1 update.

Verizon users are already starting to complain about battery drain, Wi-Fi problems and more. We expect complaints to pick up as the roll out picks up speed.

It’s not clear how these problems will impact the overall speed of the roll out (it doesn’t appear to have slowed it down yet) but Galaxy Note 5 users will want to be cautious when Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow arrives.

The fact that T-Mobile is planning a Galaxy S5 Marshmallow update is a good sign for other Galaxy S5 users in the United States and around the world.

Most carriers are silent about their plans but there’s a good chance this roll out will reach everyone.

Some manufacturers were quick to release the new update and its changes. Others, like Samsung, have been extremely slow to release the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update.

In February, after weeks of rumors and several days of confusion, Samsung finally took a step in the right direction and we finally have some movement for multiple devices.

Telus in Canada is one of the first North American carriers to confirm specific dates for the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Marshmallow roll out.

After a series of delays, the Canadian carrier now says that its Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update will push on April 7th. It will apparently be followed by updates for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge on April 14th.

Fellow Canadian carrier Bell originally confirmed the Galaxy S6 Marshmallow update for March but it looks like it’s facing delays as well.

The company’s recently told a Galaxy S6 user that it’s hoping to have the Android 6.0.1 update released in April. No date given.

Canadian carriers have been known to push updates out alongside one another so there’s a chance Bell is shooting for a release in and around April 14th as well.

Update Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge to Android 6.0

T-Mobile’s planning Android Marshmallow updates for the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S6 Edge+. Two of these updates, for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, have moved beyond the “Manufacturer Development” stage into the “T-Mobile Testing” phase meaning they’re getting closer.

T-Mobile’s Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update is still in the “Manufacturer Development” phase.

Samsung is reportedly planning Galaxy S6 updates for AT&T (we saw a date pop up for the Galaxy S6 though it came and went without an official release) and Verizon but details about those updates are still missing in action.

Vocal carriers like Rogers (Canada), Vodafone (Australia), Optus (Australia), and Telstra (Australia) continue to remain silent about their plans for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Marshmallow.

Marshmallow Features

Thanks to the roll outs and the Galaxy S6 Marshmallow beta, we know what the Marshmallow update will bring to the flagship devices.

As expected, Marshmallow brings changes to the update’s interface. The update replaces blue with white and it changes the look of several app icons.

The update also features the popular Google Now on Tap feature that allows you to quickly bring up information on whatever you’re looking at simply by holding down the home button. It’s one of our favorite Marshmallow features. The video above outlines the key features.

Samsung will be rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the most up-to-date version of Marshmallow from Google.

The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update brings a number of key changes to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge including:

Additional quick settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
New emoji characters (Android 6.0.1 brought more than 200 to Nexus users).
Improved visibility of notification panel icons.
If a fingerprint isn’t recognized, users will only get vibration feedback.
A new ‘Install overnight’ option that will install an update at night between 2 to 5 AM.

Samsung has detailed the changes coming to the Galaxy S6 Edge’s panel, some of which can be seen in galleries above.

Product Design

Samsung GALAXY S7 and Samsung GALAXY S7 Edge

Language in S6, transformation was a success, metal and glass materials plastic sense out of the past, making the overall texture was promoted more in line with its positioning. As S7, still believe Samsung will use high-end fashion design, after all, go back again cheap material sounds is a wise choice. At the same time, we can also expect some minor changes.

According to South Korean media Kbench reports, Samsung has applied for a program called "Turtle" display panel patents for enhancing the strength of the screen. Meanwhile several news sources on condition of anonymity, said that Samsung S7 may not use glass, but replace aluminum-magnesium alloy to reduce the weight of the phone, to achieve better cooling effect, while improving the overall texture. According to the design team 3DFuture leaked patent, produced a series of 3D rendering S7, S7 figure one-piece metal body, texture extraordinary, interesting is its upper and lower portions of trapezoidal design. Of course, there is no conclusive evidence that Samsung will use this design.

According to SamMobile reports, Samsung will continue to have normal and S7 curved screen in two versions, models were SM-G930 and SM-G935, depending on the circumstances of the previous S6, the credibility of this message is still very high.

If you use Samsung Galaxy S3/S4/S5, Galaxy Note 2/3/4/5, Galaxy Note and Galaxy A3/A4/A5/A6/A7 before, you can use a Phone to Phone Transfer to transfer contacts from Samsung to Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge directly,it also allows you move all contents between iPhone, Samsung,Nokia and Galaxy S7/S6.

Tips: Before root or upgrade your Samsung Galaxy S7,you must to backup and restore Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge,in order to avoid data loss on your Samsung phone.
