  3. Does this even work? Twenty minutes have passed, and my phone is still trying to sync with my Mac. Im Basically on the first step, were theres a picture of a phone and a laptop with a USB cord connected to them both. Does it usually take this long for the sync to go through? Or am I doing something wrong?

    1. Hello,you need to enable USB Debugging on your Samsung Galaxy phone

      After connecting your phone to the program successfully, you will get the following window, showing you need to enable USB debugging on the phone to continue.

      1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
      2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
