How to update the Samsung Galaxy mobile phone

Turn on your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. Unless you are on a data plan with your carrier you should use Wi-Fi or get ready to recieve a big bill for data usage, as updates can sometimes be very big.
Once connected head on over to the settings. It can be found among your apps.
Next push the more tab in the upper right corner of the screen.
At the bottom of the next window hit the About device button.
Here you will find the Software update tab. Press it.

Recover Lost Data From Samsung after Update

Step 1. Connect Your Device to Computer and Run the software

Download the Samsung Data Recovery software and run it, then connect your Samsung Galaxy S6 to the computer via US



Step 2. Enable USB debugging on your Samsung Galaxy

When the program detects your phone, it requires you to enable USB debugging. There are three options. Please choose the one for your phone's Android OS.

1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click"Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"



Step 3. Analyze and Scan your Samsung Galaxy for lost data

Make sure that your phone battery is more than 20% to enable the follow steps. Then click "Start" button to let the program analyze the file on your device. The main window will appear below.



Later, tap on the "Allow" button to let the program scan your phone for lost messages, contacts, photos and video on your Samsung Galaxy.
