Steps to recover your saved contacts
Note: You can recover your contacts only if you've previously backed them up.
Display options
Be sure all of your contacts are visible.
From the home screen, tap Contacts.
Tap MORE.
Tap Settings.
Tap Contacts to display.
Under Contacts to display, tap to select All contacts.
Tap the Back key two times.
Import contacts to your phone.
Pat 1: Restore Contacts back to Samsung Galaxy S6 via Google account
If you've saved your contacts to your Google account, you can restore them to your phone.
From the home screen, tap Apps.
Scroll to and tap Settings.
Scroll to and tap Accounts.
Tap Add account.
Tap Google.
Enter your Google account email and tap NEXT.
Enter your Google account password and tap NEXT.
Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then tap ACCEPT.
Tap to check or uncheck your preferred Google services, then tap NEXT.
Set up a Google account.
Part 2: Restore Contacts back to Samsung Galaxy S6 via Bluetooth®
Some Bluetooth-enabled devices have Bluetooth file transfer capabilities. If you stored your contacts on another Bluetooth-enabled device, you can recover lost contacts from Samsung Galaxy.
Be sure you have Bluetooth enabled on the other device and it's ready to be paired.
From the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ home screen, tap Apps.
Scroll to and tap Settings.
Tap Bluetooth.
Tap the Bluetooth slider to ON if it isn't already.
Your phone searches for available Bluetooth devices within range. Tap the name of the other phone.
If a Bluetooth pairing request displays, verify the passkeys match and tap OK.
If prompted, enter the passkey and tap OK.
If you're unsure of the passkey, try entering 0000 or 1234 (the default for most Bluetooth phones).
After you've paired your phones, begin the transfer of contacts from the other device.
After the transfer is complete, open the file on your Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and follow the prompts to load your contacts into your contact list.
Note: Sprint recommends you save your contacts to your Google account.

How to Retrieve Contacts from Broken Samsung Galaxy S4/S5/S6/S7
Step 1 Connect Your Samsung Phone to Computer Via USB Cable

Step 3 Select File Type You Want to Get Back - Contacts
Note: Make sure that your Samsung device is rooted. If it isn't, Dr.Fone would attempt to root your device, and unroot it back once the recovery process is completed.
Switch to your Samsung Galaxy S6 phone, when prompted, grant the Super User permissions for Dr.Fone.
