The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S6 haven't even been released yet and consumers are already making comparisons with currently known specs of the upcoming devices.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set for a September release but it might still get pushed off to a later date. The Galaxy S6 on the other hand is to be released sometime in March 2015, so people might get a glimpse of the Note 4 first before the S6.

When it comes to the device's screens, the Note 4 will probably get a super AMOLED 5.7-inch screen with a 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution. The S6 will also be getting the same super AMOLED QHD resolution screen except with a smaller display only going for a 5.3-inch screen.

The S6 was first speculated to sport a flexible display, as well as the Note 4. Samsung has been delving into the technology for quite some time now and it is possible that either of the devices will get flexible.

The company though will most likely test out the technology first on the Note 4 since it would be illogical to put an experimental technology on their flagship phone.

As for performance, both devices could be moving to the 64-bit chip processors. The S6 could be having either a Snapdragon 808 or 810 processor depending on whether Samsung will push through with either the QHD display or the 4K display. The 808 would be enough for the QHD but to power the 4K display, the S6 would need the 810.

The Note 4 on the other hand is most likely getting the Snapdragon 805 processor, which is slightly less powerful than the 808 or the 810 but is still pretty fast.

For RAM, both devices could be getting 4GB or even higher – as high as Samsung needs it.

Naturally, both devices will come with a hefty price tag and there are speculations that both will be more expensive than the S5. But with such high-end specifications and insane resolution screens, it would make sense that both the Note 4 and the S6 would be expensive.

With it release coming soon, the Note 4 might get the early upper hand over the S6 but with the S6's hype, the flagship smartphone might end up being on top.
