Samsung Contact Recovery: Recover Deleted Contacts from Samsung Galaxy/Note

As both series of smart phones like Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy Note support various i-messengers, such as ChatOn, WeChat, and twitter, via which you’re used to communicating with others, contacts are intensely important. If you have erased your contacts by mistake, you may suffer a lot, as sometimes losing a contact equals losing a friend, business, or social connections. Unluckily, systematic reasons exist as well to cause the contacts to be wiped, as when the operating system is unstable and breaks down, the phone is formatted or gets attacked by viruses, the SIM card is destroyed, and ROM is installed. If you used to refuse to receive phone calls from strange numbers, you’ll be missing plenty of calls from acquaintances and important people afterwards. For the sake of preventing such circumstances from occurring, you need to recover your deleted contacts in order to save yourself trouble.
Where are my Samsung's contacts saved?

First and foremost, make it clear that where you have stored your contacts, the mobile phone or the SIM card. If it’s the SIM card, but you have set your phone to display only those on the phone before, then you won’t be able to see the ones on the SIM card. In this case, the contacts are merely hidden instead of being deleted. All you need to do is resetting your phone. In other cases where the contacts are deleted distinctly, the deleted ones have not been erased completely effectively. There’re remains left on your phone which are recoverable. Once the wiped data are given new indexes, they can be restored to the original ones.

This Samsung Data Recovery can help you restore deleted contacts from Samsung no matter you lose contacts because of mistaken deletion, resetting device back to the factory default settings or breaking your device suddenly. While, one thing to notice is that if you delete your contacts by mistake, you should stop adding or editing contacts then. That's because your lost contacts won't be totally wiped off from your phone data unless you add new data to overwrite them. So please keep your Samsung smart phone intact after deleting contacts, otherwise you may lose them without recovering.

What's more, this android phone data recovery not only can help you recover deleted contacts from Samsung mobile phone. In fact, this Android Phone Data Recovery can be compatible with all Android phones. So if you own a HTC, LG, Sony, Motorola or other Android smart phones, you can work the same program to help retrieve lost contacts completely.

Download the free trial of the software to have a try. Below is the step-by-step guide showing you how to get back your contacts deleted from the Samsung Galaxy S4/S3/S2/S or Samsung Galaxy Note 3/2/1 on Windows PC.

The first thing is to download this software and install it. Then, open it and the interface should pop up. This is where you plug the phone into the computer

1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter "Settings" < Click "About Phone" < Tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" < Back to "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging'

As Galaxy S4 is base on Android 4.2, we should adopt the third method.

Step 3.Select the to-be-Scanned Data
You will see this which tells you to ensure that the phone is over 20% charged. Click "Start" to continue.

And then, you can check to choose the items that you need. ("Contacts" is our option here.) Press "Next".

Take one of the modes—"Scan for deleted files", "Scan for all files" or "Advanced Mode". The usual choice is the first one, which save you time.

Now, go to your S4 and tap "Allow" when the SuperUser requires authority. In case you don't know how, the window has shown the operation for you. And, if you don't want to press it for several times, just tick "Remember".

Step 4.Scan Lost Samsung Contacts and Recover Them
The software will automatically scan the phone for you. The length of time depends on how many file types you choose. When the result comes out, you can preview the details and check the one that is to be restored. All set, tap "Recover".
Note: Doing backup files of your Samsung frequently does benefit. Data that are covered can not be retrieved. So, when that happens, your backup files can help a lot.
